In my spare time, I dabble in writing for the Science and Technology desk of the Yale Daily News as well as the Yale Scientific Magazine.
My work has involved interviewing professors across scientific disciplines and institutions, executives from nonprofits/advocacy organizations, and members of the Yale community. I focus on conveying the scope of scientific discoveries made at Yale in a form that is accessible to a nonspecialist audience. I feel that writing articles that distill complex scientific ideas into an understandable form is one of the most vital components of journalism, as it facilitates the transfer of the knowledge gained in the laboratory to the minds of the general public. I also write about new STEM initiatives in the Yale community. Included below is a list of several articles that I have written.
